Okay, so, a lot has happened since my last post. Master's degree got in the way and took up an awful lot of time. It's still not finished, not by a long shot. Highlights since my first post,

  • Completing a redraft of the first 15 pages of my original script for the read through and getting some good feedback.
  • I now have 2 more complete scripts under my belt for my portfolio.
  • I was lucky enough to be assigned Lisa Holdsworth 'workswithwords' as my mentor for my major project.
  • I went on a set tour of Holby City at Elstree, actually this is more the highlight of my life, spent so many years loving the programme that I was completely awe struck walking across Keller and sitting in 'theatre' during a take.
Where am I now?
Still aspiring, still writing, still dizzy. Oh, perhaps I should have mentioned my incurable clumsiness and disaster prone nature. I am still suffering from a bang on the head from back in 2009, its only me that could manage it, concussion from the launderette door.

I have recently discovered the wonder that is netflix, for a tv fan it is heaven. They have a huge number of old series allowing you to catch up on the programmes you missed when they were on tv. This wonderful thing may also be a curse, all 6 series of Wild at Heart, all of Monarch of the Glen, Spooks, Classic Doctor Who and the modern series - I might not be able to leave the screen for months.

Check back for some new artworks.
